To begin, create or select a design that fits the size of your mug. Once your design is ready, use a printer equipped with transfer toner to print it onto transfer paper. It's important to mirror the design before printing to ensure it transfers properly onto the mug. After printing, carefully trim the transfer paper to match the area of the mug where you want the design to appear, making sure it fits perfectly on the surface.

Begin by thoroughly cleaning the surface of the mug to remove any dust or oil that could interfere with the transfer. Once the mug is clean, carefully align the printed transfer paper onto the desired area of the mug. To ensure the paper stays in place, secure it tightly using heat-resistant tape, making sure there are no air bubbles or creases that could affect the quality of the transfer.

Preheat your mug press machine to the recommended temperature, usually between 350°F to 400°F (177°C to 204°C). Once the machine is heated, carefully position the mug with the secured transfer paper inside the press. Apply firm pressure and heat the mug for approximately 180 to 210 seconds, adjusting based on the specific requirements of your equipment and transfer paper for optimal results.

Place the mug in the press and apply heat and pressure. Once the time is complete, carefully remove the mug and immediately peel off the sublimation paper while it is still hot. Be cautious while handling, as both the mug and paper will be extremely hot. After peeling, allow the mug to cool before handling further.

Create or select your design using any type of design software, then print it on sublimation paper using a sublimation printer. Ensure that the design is mirrored before printing for proper alignment.

Trim the printed design to fit the mug, and wrap it tightly around the ceramic mug with the printed side facing the surface. Secure it in place using heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting during pressing.

Preheat your mug press to a temperature of 375°F to 400°F. Set the time for 180-240 seconds and apply medium to firm pressure.

Place the mug in the press and apply heat and pressure. Once the time is complete, carefully remove the mug and immediately peel off the sublimation paper while it is still hot. Be cautious while handling, as both the mug and paper will be extremely hot. After peeling, allow the mug to cool before handling further.
